After flying from LAX to London, a 6 hour layover, then flight from London to Johannesburg - we made it, arriving at 7 am on Saturday. The flights and connections went smoothly.
We were greeted by our host church with loud vuvuzela horns and friendly faces and lots of hugs.
First stop - coffee.
Next stop - Apartheid Museum
After that we will go to our guest house, get cleaned up and enjoy some rest.
Please pray for open hearts, open minds as we go to the museum. Pray for good night's rest tonight.
Wow! On the ground and ready to "hit it". What a concept!
ReplyDeletePraying for you all and for the opportunities that will be presenting themselves to each of you throughout you journey! I know that God has huge plans for this team and for the ways in which you will each not only be an impact to others but how God will impact each of you while you open your eyes to see what God has for you as you reach out into the "zone of the unknown"? Ain't it great to know ahead of time, who is in control of your steps each moment?
Be sure to "Armor up" each day and to just be "the muppets" and let the Holy Spirit be your voices!
Looking forward to what God will show each of you at the memorial and how it will stay with you forever!
